Here’s the deal: Husband goes to grocery and buys coffee. Comes home and notices he bought whole bean instead of ground coffee. We don’t have a coffee grinder and don’t want to buy one. Is there a way to grind the beans some other way with common household items?

Yep, you can use your blender. Put in a small amount and grind, pour out, measure, and do this until you have the amount you want to make coffee. You can grind it all and return it to the bag, just be sure the bag is sealed or the coffee will lose it’s freshness. Be sure to run your blender jar through the dishwasher to remove all traces of coffee or the next thing you do will have a coffee taste.
