Question on coffee roasting and blending?

I’m doing some roasting and was wondering if there are any good roast blends that people have experience with, and if so what are they and could you describe them (80:20 dark/light or whatever)?

Also, do blends between different country’s coffee have any effect? If so what are some coffees that go better together (like south american/african or something)?

John, the selection will probably go better by selecting dry process verses wet process.
I haven’t been too interested in blending per say, as I much prefer experiencing the nuance of a single origin.
As for country selection be aware that you can find many different ‘flavors’ of coffee within not only a single country, but of a single region within that country.
I would recommend visiting http://sweetmarias.com and check out their selection of green bean offerings. the reason is that You will receive a well written report on the tastes and type of each coffee that is offered.
