I think this question is ridiculous and I would never leave it on after I’m done with the coffee, but someone else seems to think it’s okay. What do you think? It’s the type of coffee maker that stays hot until you turn it off even if all the coffee evaporates.

How to descaling a coffee maker?
I need to descaling a coffee maker. I heard that baking soda and vinegar could be useful, but I do not have the proportions and instructions.
