Although no one has ever made coffee in my family, just tea, I found a canister of Maxwell House. We don’t have a coffee maker, so can I just boil the ground coffee beans in a pot and then drain the beans out?

May 12th, 2010 Admin Every time i brew a pot of coffee, the smell it gives off is horrible! The odor itself is coming from the steam. After it’s done brewing, the coffee tastes fine and the pot doesn’t seem to smell. How do i clean a coffee maker to possibly rid of this smell?
Is it okay to store coffee beans in the freezer?
May 10th, 2010 Admin I don’t drink coffee that much, but I buy whole beans and grind them when I make a fresh pot of coffee. Will keeping them in the freezer help them stay fresh, or will it have the opposite effect?
